My choice is :

Sink the Bismark and The Battle of the River Plate are my favourite WW2 movies when the Royal Navy sink Hitler's raiders.

Master and Commander for the Napoleonic era.

Das Boot for submarine warfare.

I like that destroyer vs submarine movie with Robert Mitchum.

Although there are some excellent movies on there I have to question the inclusion of Greyhound. Not very good and not in the class of the others.

I don't rate the reviewers choices on that list. Master and Commander is a way better movie than Tora Tora Tora! I agree with Hunt for Red October and Das Boot being high on that list.

What about the Hornblower movie with Gregory Peck. Possibly the reviewer didn't want a third C.S Forester book. And no mention of The Cruel Sea.

Looks like the editor can't count- there are only 15 movies.

The Enemy Below. Inspired a the 1st Star Trek Romulan episode, I believe.
Agree with Obee.
The Hornblower miniseries wasn't bad. Don't forget Run Silent, Run Deep.
