1903 HOTEL de LILLE (1 Viewer)

The last look Robin, don't tell me you're selling it already???

Tom

No it's my baby, just felt I have saturated everyone with every angle going, so best to give it a rest before someone complains they are sick of seeing it. ^&grin, Robin.

No one will ever complain Robin, the building and dio is a cracker! Please continue to post pic's, perhaps with some WW2 jerries next time!

Hey Robin,

I fully agree with Tom....we will never complain...so much to see and so many little details.....keep sending them....
As a matter of fact the little farmhouse from JG Miniatures, how did you go around giving it a 360 degrees figure! I thought from checking it on the site that it only had three sides??
Cheers
Luiz

Hi Luiz, I have placed the two JG buildings together to form a 'L' shaped building. These two are similar in colouring and style so I felt they could combine. Both buildings can be displayed on all 4 sides, so John has done a good job on these. Robin.

Around we go again, I am getting dizzy. Robin.

I just happened to see this diorama for the first time. Terrific. But where is it located? La Villeneuve Robin!

Robin,

This is a wonderful scene. I can just feel the fun you had setting up the structures and figures and then photographing it.
Thanks for sharing.

Joe

Thanks Joe, you know it, I am thrilled with this diorama piece especially commissioned by my friend Howard Woods when he met Ken Olsen many moons ago in Chicago. I luckily scored it from Howard last year after mentioning to him many times that I wanted it. The standing joke that he was going to search me every time I left his home in case I was stealing it. Never dreamt he would part with it for a small amount of cash. So it has found a good home where it is very much appreciated. Maybe some day in the future it will be a WW11 scene for a change. Robin.

French handlers share the digs. Robin.

Robin...
the older I get...
the more I love the nice peaceful scenes...
I fond the "campfire style figures" are a nice change from the "action figures"...
very nice display...
