Agree. JJD is doing it's part with it's very excellent series of trucks, tanks, armored cars, planes, figures, and even a Marne Taxi. Hard to beat his creativity in WW1 themes. -- Al

Hullo There,

Rob brings up one of my favorite historical periods…The First World War and goes on to mention the terrific figures, vehicles and aircraft by John Jenkins, Britains and more recently Thomas Gunn and First Legion – I totally agree the more the merrier.

Then, surprisingly, at least to me, he mentions several companies “ still to enter the conflict” . Among them…King & Country.

Correct me if I’m wrong but I seem to remember K&C were and are one of the first companies to produce The Great War in miniature going all the way back to 2007 and continuing all the way up to the present. Here’s a little reminder…

Look out for even more in 2014 and beyond. Adios for now…

Gordon C.

Hi Gordon,

Sorry I should have made my point clearer, I meant still to enter the fray this year. I understood the latest excellent German figures were pre war. Of course K&C have been making WW1 products for a long while now and very good they are too. My post was about which companies are going where in WW1 in the coming year. Cant wait to see where K&C will go next for the centenary

Cheers for excellent pics

One might argue a little more than its part!

You didn't mention Heritage Rob. So far I've made, British cavalry, infantry Highlanders, including the London Scottish. German, line infantry, jagers, guard dragoons, hussars and feld artillerie, including a full team and limber for the FK96na.

Sincere apologies Martin, my bad.

I should point out guys I meant no offence to any company at all, the thread was merely meant to be a list of the WW1 releases we knew were on the horizon for 2014 , not a comprehensive list of WW1 products already out there.

Much as I enjoy posting, sometimes you cant get your meaning across In the way that it would be obvious in the good old face to face:redface2:

So after a few hours in the pub, you are confident that you can get your message across face to face?
