Thanks for your kind comments,and I pride myself on getting the deatils right !

By the way, I have made a new base for all of the Tradtion 1812 sets, and places that on one of my shelves as a better was of displaying the troops.

Very nice John! After looking at your dio it reminded me of an old and popular French TV series about Jean-Roch Coignet who was a grenadier in the Old Guard and who wrote his memoirs (best seller in France). He took part of 48 battles (including Waterloo) without ever being wounded a single time. He died in his bed. The following v-clips show the retreat from Russia part of this series.
