I did get my club card in the post yesterday though......I'd rather have the soldiers WB^&grin.
Thanks

Rec'd notice today from Iowa Diecast a pkg was mailed. I think this is the club figs I ordered. Including the Zulu fig. Chris

No hurry for my Zulu figure as he is just going to lost in the 100 Zulu figures I have, but still it looks to be a nice sculpt. Cheers, Robin.

Someone once told me you can never have too many Zulus. :wink2: Chris

Hi Guys:

Catalog and Standard due back from printer next week. Club figures arrived in US and in UK already. So, once printed material here it will all be going out together -probably somewhere around June 11-22.

Thanks,

Richard

I wonder if they will update their website before the release of the catalogue?

Re: 2012 club figures (BATTLE OF ULUNDI)

Especially if they have a Gatling waiting for their charge...^&grin

Paulo

That's a good point Paulo.
Talking of Gatling guns it makes me wonder if WB will be bringing out a Gatling gun and team.
Or perhaps even a whole range for the battle of Ulundi {sm3}
I would like to see some other British regiments represented for the Zulu period especially the 17th lancers.^&cool
I've just read Saul David's brilliant book on the Zulu wars and IMO it would be a natural progression for WB to round off the Zulu War with Ulundi.
I suppose this has been discussed before but any thoughts on the subject anyone?

In this month's Toy Soldier mag is an advert for the New Sudan Naval Gatling gun and crew plus one Naval Officer and a Naval Brigade man standing firing.

Looks good

British lancers at Ulundi would surely be very nice. I wonder if anyone has taken a hard look at the gloss version, the Redcoats mounted figures, 2 of them, they are things of extreme beauty.

But not too many of them released at once please. Lets give the collectors an actual chance to collect them.

Rec'd an email notice from First Gear of a shipment today. Maybe the club figs? :smile2: Chris

Rec'd my new club figs today. Great Iron Bgde and Zulu figs. Anyone else? Chris

My Collector's Club membership pack, including the 2012 Spring Catalog and the latest issue of the Standard was delivered this afternoon as well as the Collector's Club ACW figure #50035C Union Iron Brigade at Shoulder Arms. Just great "stuff" indeed . . . the Iron Brigade figure is very well done and I am very pleased with it . . . . Thanks WB . . . . .
:smile2: Mike

Any chance of a high res picture of the Iron Brigade figure?

Here are photos of all four sides of the figure . . . .
