2014 Westcoaster - video (1 Viewer)

Hi Kurt,

What a wonderful video! Thanks so much for posting this series of views of the show. I have never attended the West Coaster, but I have often wondered about the quality and size of the show. Your video communicates much about the spirit and enthusiasm that characterizes the event. Obviously, it is a first class event!

Since I am primarily a gloss collector, did you notice if there were many vendors selling gloss finished figures? If you can recall seeing gloss figures for sale, can you also recall what artists and companies were represented?

Again, thanks for posting your video. It was fun to watch. it was filled with good information, and it was filled with impressive figures and dioramas!

Warmest personal regards,

Pat :)

Thanks for posting the video! For us who live far away from these events it's a real delight to see some of the action!

Nice steady hand and well covered, great to watch. Please attend every show and duplicate^&grin:salute::, Robin.

Thank you Kurt for the video of the show. Great photography and I enjoyed viewing the video. John

Hi Pat,

I don't collect any gloss figures myself so that's why I didn't take any video of that. I am pretty sure there are sellers of gloss figures each year but not being familiar with them I couldn't tell you about the artists or companies. I'll try to remember next year to take more video of the show than just the stuff I collect. :smile2:

Top Marks to you on this video. A very steady platform shot segment. I think I will pay back the favor and do the same type of coverage for May's Texas Show ! This is the way to provide show coverage ! {bravo}}

Wayne ,

That would be great...that you are volunteering to provide some footage of the Texas Show...I really enjoyed watching this footage of the Westcoaster , was able to see some live footage of the soon to be released K&C Pz 35t & the K&C Russian T-70...All the other great items i have not had the chance to see in person...@ the end of the video clip the Sopwith Camel going down trailing black smoke with a german plane close behind was really cool...Thanks again Kurt !!
:salute::

Outstanding Video Kurt!

What did you use to shoot the video?

Carlos

I took the video using my cellphone, a Samsung Galaxy Note 2. My hand isn't that steady though. The video editing software I used enhances the stability, but sacrifices resolution.

Amazing!

Well , glad to see my gray hair and fat stomach in full motion video as I sit at the K&C stand! In all seriousness, great video Kurt. For any that have not attended, I like this show a lot being my second one, intend on going back next year!

Then who was that with a video camera and a tripod . . . perhaps one of the toy soldier magazines? I, too, am impressed with your camera work without a larger camera and no tripod!
