World War II:: British Paras Normandy
: Stalingrad - more Soviets - commanders such as Chuiikov and Paulus surrendering

Vietam: A M113
 
would really like to see Para's for Pegasus or merville

I don't think that is as much a "no shot" as you may think. Matt is a fan of modern warfare

And Matt, if you are listening, whatever Modern era vehicles you do Im in for a platoon's worth.

Otherwise, my 2014 wishlist- in no particular order

Gallic/Celtic slingers
Roman Aux archers and siege weapons- ballistae, Scorpio
American Continentals in Tricorn caps
Takeda mounted archers, more medieval looking samurai
M113
King Tiger
ww1 Mother male
 
Oh and add a new line covering the wars of medieval Scotland, circa 1270-1314 and we are golden!!
 
Mounted French knights for Agincourt, Union infantry, and an individual unmounted Napoleon. I would love a re-issue of the Prussian flag bearer, but I know that is unlikely.

I also know what I would be ok without seeing for 2014 too-

More wounded vignette's- it seems every batch of releases has one of these thrown in there. They dress out the ranks well but it seems a bit repetitive. FL makes fantastic vignette but Id like to see perhaps a Roman Legionaire shield bashing a gaul in the face, perhaps a squire helping a knight into amor- etc. I know these are expensive ideas but might help add a little flavor, who knows

I also don't need to see anymore "decapitated Roman" vignettes as every manufacturer who has done Romans has done these vignettes already. Not sure FL needs to travel back down that road.
 
Now that I think about it if Matt picked up the phone and called me today and asked me for only 1 suggestion for future releases I would have to say the Battle of the Bulge for me please, the winter battles I enjoy collecting the most and can just imagine some First Legion worn out looking American G.I.s getting ready to defend the town of Bastogne, plus with the latest sneak peek of the winter Germans you can get a good idea how great this range could be, so Matt I'll be waiting for that call today :)....Sammy
 
I think this year I will be a little more specific:

ACW:
Confederate Artillery -- the Washington Artillery of New Orleans
Union Infantry in sack coats and forage caps in firing line

Middle Ages:
Bannockburn-- Robert the Bruce and Company
Agincourt -- Dismounted Henry V

American Revolution:
Continental Artillery

WWII:
Normandy: Lord Lovat's Commandos relieving Pegasus Bridge
82d Airborne 6lb Airborne Antitank gun defending La Fiere causeway. Airborne Jeep (I know licensing can be a pain, but there appear to be workarounds.)
Omaha Beach -- BG Norman Cota, Rangers 29th Division
Pacific: Iwo Jima Marines (in M41 Field Jackets)

Vietnam:
Marines in Hue City. Ontos. Mechanical Mule
Australians (the mixture of FALs and Sterlings would be cool)

Napoleonic:
Battle of New Orleans (well it IS Napoleonic by extension). Marines (both RM and American) Artillery, pirates, Regulars, Local militia, Highlanders in trews, personality figures etc...

WWI:
1916- 1918!
Verdun, 2nd Marne, Meuse Argonne. Poilu in Adrian Helmets, Legionnaires in Khaki, Hotchkiss Machineguns, Chauchats. French 75s. German 77s. Sturmtruppe with Kar-98s, MP-18s, Artillery lugers with snail drums, MG-05/15s and flame throwers . Doughboys and Marines with 37mm trench guns, M1917 Enfields (Army only -- Marines only used Springfields) , BARs. Plenty of Personality figures.
 
Pennsylvania Bucktails! That would fit in perfect with the 1st day at Gettysburg! :)

We can always have a conjectural thought of what we want to see this coming year. My thoughts are:

Age of the Samurai

More Samurai and different poses with their respective "sashimonos" Hojo Clan of Odawara, Takeda and Uesugi Clan
More Takeda Generals (daimyo) on horseback, we seen the 4 generals with respective "sashimonos" from the last release. 4 out of 24 Takeda Generals.

Siege Weapons

French and Indian War

Woodland Indians
French and British Soldiers

American War of Independence

10th Regiment of Foot
23rd Royal Welch Fusiliers
Hessian Army

Napoleonics

Kings German Legion
Chasseur A' Cheval
Polish Lancers

British 6th Airborne "Oxfordshire and Buckinghamshire Light Infantry
Horsa Glider
Shermans and Hellcat Tank Destroyer
Panther Tanks; and for the Pacific War, Marines for the island campaign

True 54mm SYW French cavalry !! please Santa together with some Hanoverian infantry in the same scale

We have a few British cavalry units from Tradition and John Eden studios and there are 54mm cavalry from other nations but no French. Its a glaring gap and I am sure anyone who produced them would be flooded with orders.
