I thought I should add my photos from the 2019 Symposium. Sorry, for the delay, but I got a really bad cold last week which really put me under the weather and I was also trying to help set up Bob Walker's Open House on May 11th. In any case, here are the belated photos starting with Louis's fabulous collection.

These are the last three photos, but I really didn't photograph everything in his collection. I must say that Louis's collection has an amazing number of armored fighting vehicle and war birds from many manufacturers, but especially from King & Country. The number and nature of his dioramas is also hard to imagine. If you can, in the future, you must attend one of Louis's Symposiums. Put it on your bucket list. You will not regret it!

The following are photos from Richard Schuster's amazing collection. What a treat to see two great collections over one week end. Rich's collection is displayed in a large corner room with an architectural ceiling located on the second story of his beautiful home. He has had custom-made white shelves built which are covering the walls where his collection is displayed.

The first three photos are of a large 9 x 4 foot diorama table in the middle of the room. The diorama shows the attack on the Breymann Redoubt during the Battle of Saratoga in 1777 with John Jenkins Designs figures. Attacking are the 2nd New York, the 2nd Massachusetts, and the 1st Canadian Regiments of the Continental Army. There are also attacking Colonial Militia and Morgan's Rifles. Defending the Redoubt are Brunswick Grenadiers from the von Specht and von Rhetz Regiments plus Hessians from the Jaeger Corps.

These are the final five photos. There were parts of Rich's collection that I didn't have time to photograph. What a spectacular collection! I have been lucky enough to view probably four of the greatest collections in the USA or maybe anywhere for that matter. Those are the collections of Louis Badolto and Richard Schuster in New York and Ed Ruby and Bob Walker in California. What a treat!
