Serge,
It is like I told Brett I have a lot of fun in this hobby because it entertains me and I love the aesthetics of my dioramas. But there seems to be a small percent of cutthroat collectors/dealers that want everything and will do or say most anything to get what they are after. I understand your frustration and I have seen it happen before. Grown Men fighting and crying over TOYS. It is just human nature and it will happen in any sport or hobby. This is just my observation and not necessarily fact. Serge you have one Helluva collection and I do not think you will regret keeping it in the long run. Take a break and the FEVER for collecting will return.

Serge, I think in the long run, you will be happy you kept your collection. Not sure what happened with the outside members but no reason to quit this forum. Maybe someone can seal this thread and everyone can simply move on.

cheers

Hi Everyone,

I made a very difficult decision last night, for very personal reason, and decided to cancel all orders.
I know i will make some peoples angry with me, something happened yesterday from an outside TF members that was very unpleasant.

Some peoples can do some things to grab your collection in whatever manner.

Im very sorry for that and i do have to give a BiG Apologize to everyonet

and because of that, i wont come back anymore. this will be my last post.

Serge

Hi Serge,

I don't know if you realized this or not, but I didn't place an order with you. I had noticed a line from another of your posts, from Sept 1, that made me think that you were really struggling with your situation:

Early This morning i even changed my mind not to sell it anymore. but i do need to concentrate on only 2 Manufacturers (First Legions & John Jenkins).

To tell you the truth, I've never been comfortable with buying things from distressed sellers. I really don't know you, so I hope that the other parts of your life are going well. One way or the other, I think that you ought to take a hiatus from buying. Let the dust settle, so to speak.

Oh, and don't be a stranger. If anyone is truly pissed at you, it's likely because they're more merchant than collector. I'm the latter, so you're always welcome in any thread of mine.

Unbelievable. You could make a soap opera out of this hobby.Good luck Serge.

Who ever got that spam about reading minds should have seen this coming. I'm seeing a room number in Chicago.

Let me try to get this right in my mind. A person decides to sell a collection I believe valued in the $350000 range and a problem arrises, that can be expected when your dealing in these amounts, so the whole collection is now not for sale? Help me out here?
I PM'd a few friends when this whole deal came up and said this looks to me to be a giant cluster (you add the ending).
What,s that old saying, somethings not right in Denmark!

I too didn't get to place an order with you, thought I would wait for the dust to settle and see if the items I would like for my collection would still be available. Some people/collectors/dealers only think of them selves and make it ruff for some of us true collector who have a true love and passion for this hobby. Serge not Apology is needed and please don't be a stranger on this form. would like to meet and tak to you some day....Thanks again Ron {sm4}:salute::

What a surprise! A collector/seller puts up for sale on a blog 3,350 toy soldier figures/sets worth over $300K and things turn to s...! Potential buyers don't understand or can't follow the rules and get upset. Some bad players looking to make a quick buck get involved. Then the collector/seller can't deal with the mess, picks up his toys and goes home. Several lessons to be learned here!

As the items are no longer for sale I have closed the thread for now to avoid any unpleasantness.
