59 days to Xmas!! what's on your list?? (1 Viewer)

No knowledge my friend! I'm just dreaming. I really like First Legion's artillery. I would just like to see some more. A French howitzer would also be a great and different release.

Yes that is not a problem, it it?;)

Ahhh, good to be home on a nice quiet part of the forum:) I decided on my second line and that will be the Civil War, love the sacs/knights but my heritage being from Virginia and having 3 family members who fought for the 55th sharpshooters of Virginia have to go with the home team, already looking forward to Christmas morning to seeing some of these great sets if they are as good as my WWII First Legion I'll be a happy guy:)...Sammy

Monumental decision Sammy, congrats. I have lived in Va twice over the last 15 odd years. Being an Aussie, I guess I am a somewhat of a Southerner myself. :D:D:D Cheers, Alby

Actually now only 17 days to Christmas!!!!!!!!!!! still don't know what will be under the tree as the wife makes all those decisions, all I can do is write a list and hope for the best, but I did write a long list of WWII needs so let's hope there are plenty of First Legion boxes under the tree:)...Sammy

I ask for a First Legion gift Certificate http://www.firstlegionltd.com/giftcertificates.aspx that way I can get what I want :D I sure hope She will go for it :)

Just yesterday I got my First Legion Christmas present. Well, it won't be opened for a few weeks yet, but it is here. My lovely wife got me the last two AWI militia I was needing. Now, I just hope to get some cash as well to use after the holiday for the upcoming 5th Foot Grenadiers.

Love this company!

My First Legion Christmas list:

1- Caesar mounted leading charge at Alesia
2- 14th legion Centurion
3- 14th Legio Legionaires in various poses
4- Roman Decurion
5- Any US WW2 or Modern figures- I'd consider a M1A2 Abrams circa Iraq 2004 produced by FL the signature piece of my collection.

In other words, pretty much anything done by St. Pete but at half the cost- Have at it FL!! :D:eek::D

All I can say is that if First Legion do a line revolving around the Battle of Alesia I would be soooooooooo into that :D:D I would commit to at least one of everything to start followed by hundreds more , I have been buying Romans and Celts from several Russian studios and Mr Thor for years.... my dream piece is still their Celt Chariot but at $1100.00 US I still can't make myself pull the trigger . I can only imagine what First Legion could do with this Battle :eek::eek: If this happens I would most likely have to stop collecting the Crusaders and Stalingrad lines for want of space and funds  Man that would be both sad and FANTASTIC......... a dream come true , the same goes for the Varusschlacht ;). Best regards gebhard

Hello??? First Legion????? Hello????? You guys getting this??? Internet connections ok up there????? :D:p:D:D

Looks like me, Gebhard, Debrito, Pugio and a few other gents have committed and answered your call.............. :) Spitfrnd would probably commit as well.

Mmm, so folk would drop Crusaders and Stalingrad line for a new Roman line! I'm pretty sure FL is a business, so in respect of those comments, I don't think a Roman line will be on the cards, well unless someone knows different?!

Well, there were no toy soldiers on my Christmas list this year because I am getting a new guitar, but I ordered stuff for myself anyway. I only had 1 - yes 1 - FL figure (a French 61st regiment Fusilier that I bought a couple of years ago from a fellow Treefrogger). I just ordered 6 more from that regiment, a Crusader with spear, a Colonial militiaman firing, and the King's Colors flagbearer from the Gordon's Highlanders set - Merry Christmas to me!! Oh, and I also ordered a John Jenkins WWII Sopwith Camel.

Yes I could not resist a Roman / Barbarian line or a Roman versus almost anyone line for that matter. I would prefer something from the Late Republic, especially involving Caesar but .... the Early Republic or Principate would be OK if needs be. I know Matt loves the Late Republic and early Principate periods of Rome so I think patience will be rewarded some day.;) One thing I would not give up is their British and French Napoleonics, especially the green ones.:p:D

Please don't use my post as a reason for First Legion not to do a Roman line :mad:That's not nice ;) Truth is about 9 out of every 10 figures I purchase are produced by First Legion , That wouldn't change... its just that the money would be going into a different line, but still into the coffers of First Legion .....gladly at that . Happy collecting Gebhard

Deedums, I will speak to my mammy and you can speak to your mammy and eventually, Christmas will be lovely!

No seriously, let's hope for a new line; how about the Thirty Years War or Siege of Vienna and those beautiful Polish Winged Hussars!
