6 Day War (2 Viewers)

Although don't have the "isreali reserve" , i have a great number figures of the colection "Men at war". One of them that I like, is the Sergeant of the Arab Legion. The Arab legion could be a great adiction for the "6 day war" range....

Now this is more a question for Andy,

- Did King & Country produce the Samurai range for Del Prado?

As I recall K&C designed the first 36 figures...Del Prado employed 2x Experts in Japan who could not agree on anything and would often provide completely different information and advice.
It was a nightmare project for us and the factories involved...Eventually we resigned from the project as did at least one of the factories in China.
Hope this helps, Andy.

....sounds like the textbook definition of "building a canoe by committee."

Hello Andy,

First of all, and again my thanks for answer to my question.

Didn't realise that this range was a nigthmare to your company, since at the time the Del Prado's Samurai were really good.
However, in my opinion the Napoleonics range where the best.....a very complete collection i would say.

Well done to the new range about "6 day war"....At first it seems a very promising range, with a lot of space to grow!

I particularly like Takeda Shingen , Ii Naomasa (the red devil),Maeda Toshiie (the guy with the tall golden helm) , Oda Nobunaga (with a western style armour) and the figure with a straw cape (great touch!). I had few other figures as well but those listed above are the best in my opinion. For Naomasa i paid about 25 $ (i couldn't find it anywhere at the time), the others are on ebay for a few bucks even now. They are beautiful.

Movie trailer looks good, really like the new figures, those fn's, the same as the slr, beautiful weapon.

G'day Rob,
Thanks for the compliments on the new IDF figures...Talking of the good old L1A1 SLR [Self Loading Rifle]...It's been over 20 years since I last held and fired one BUT I reckon I could still field strip and reassemble one blind-folded today!!!
It was a great rifle... easy to shoot...easy to keep clean...and soldier proof.

Best wishes and happy collecting! Andy.

I was a private when I first fired the Self Loading Rifle, 7.62x 59mm, one shot, one kill, best weapon ever, fond memories of the rats tail.
Those IDF with the FN, not bad, eagerly awaiting, a IDF M3 halftrack and an Egyptian T55, knocked out of course.

I have been trying to find an Israel FN FAL with an original receiver to buy. At least I can dream.

Quick question for K&C people out there -- how long do I have to purchase the figures with the preorder bundle discounts?

Hi there, re your question above...It's not a preorder offer...It's simply an 'order offer'...It will be available while stocks last and until further notice. Hope this helps.
Best wishes and happy collecting! Andy.

I was speaking with a some collectors at Sierra on Saturday afternoon and this series is one of the most anticipated in a long time. The figures, their poses and the historical significance have made them "must haves" for quite a few of us. I am glad I am not alone!

I am so glad to hear this. I was concerned it wouldn't be well received and be an orphan line.

I would personally prefer Jordanians, with Egyptians as a second choice. That is primarily because I would prefer to make a Jerusalem or Hevron diorama, with a Sharm el-Sheik diorama as a second choice. Anyway, if Andy wanted to do the Syrian front, he probably would have chosen different figures to make.

Not sure it would be a big seller, but I'd love to see these three in miniature!

I know it's too early to say but i think Andy at some time in the future will release a version of the figures in tiger stripe camo. Anyone know why the price is so low?Not that i'm unhappy about it..on the contrary! Maybe because the painting it's easy (only olive drab)?...by the way i agree with the one who wrote they are the best or some of the best sculpted figures by K&C ..!
