Well done Zach!
It was good to meet up in Texas at the Show and hope you enjoyed it as much as we did...

And now onto Chicago in late September and more IDF and maybe, just maybe, the first 'opposition'...

All the best and happy collecting! Andy.

Do them right ...:confused: They are EXCELLENT NOW!

Gee, Zach ... you sound a bit excited about this series. {sm4}

What realistically we must expect about arab opposition? I believe Andy will choose Jordanian first (the main opposition in the conquest of Jerusalem in 1967 was made by the Legion), then Egyptian and Syrian. I expect to find some Arab Legion figures (after all the only Del Prado figure designed by Andy for the XXth century collection was from the Arab Legion, and it's one of the best!), then Egyptian (they had peculiar uniforms!) and then Syrian. I believe most of them should have the Keffiyeh. Look at the pics. Bonus a beautiful artwork by Johnny Shumate for the Uzi volume portraying paras in the Old City.

Excellent suggestions and thankyou... however, the first of Israel's June War opposition to appear will be Egyptians and Syrians...But don't worry the Jordanians will appear a little later!
All the best and happy collecting! Andy.

Thanks for the answer Andy, you really know how to surprise us! Can't wait to see these new figures! :)

I just picked up a few of these from Sierra and I have to say that they are incredible. I love the poses and the versatility of them. I will definitely be completing this series while looking forward to future releases.

Interesting to know, I've used large sheets of sandpaper in the past which most hardware stores carry, or at least they used to. That was way back when dio materials were hard to find, times have changed of course.

I don't quite know why...But I really like the colour of your foreground and background in your picture, it just seems to match the group of figures and the 'Isherman' perfectly...

Out of curiosity, what did you use..? Thanks in advance and bst wishes, Andy.

It's just a simple cheap terrain mat from a hobby shop in Wanchai Road here in HK. It's very large - must be 2m by 1m+ which is good for these wide shots.

I think it cost about $80 HKD.

Not being the most accomplished photographer, I was disappointed in my white backgrounds coming up a sort of mauve each time and thought I'd try something a little more neutral with less light.

Maybe it's my 'moody' phase

Andy, I love the six day war sets, but my 4 yr old nephew thought something was lacking!!!! There's a critic around every corner!

Thanks for posting your pix, Zach...Particularly like your 'customised' Isherman...and the little green army guy too!!! Say 'hi' to your nephew from me and make sure you convert him to real, metal toy soldiers p.d.q...
All the best and happy collecting for both of you, Andy.

The Fal Mg gunner is a big guy!!! Notice the heighth...next on my list the IDF female auxiliary..

I have one stock from k&c and one that's been repainted and weathered differently. Also, hatches are closed, there's additional stowage and id numbers are changed. I'll post pics soon

I wanted to have more than one tank for my diorama, but didn't want them to look the same, so I had Mitch, in England, do some conversion work on the second. They look great together! Two tanks is always better than one! {sm4}
