Nicholas from Crown Miniatures and I are thinking about teaming up and attending this show; he came up with the idea, I think it's a great idea, we need to work out the logistics. Nicholas carries quite a few high end Russian figures and also buys collections of this type from time to time, I think it would be an interesting concept to join forces with another dealer and attend a show of this magnitude.

I'm heading to it, too, with Hershbell and Dennis Sosna. I've never been to Chicago before, nor to a World Expo, so I'm excited to go. I don't know if they're up for my suggestion, though, which was to rent a camper and truck it on out.

A friend of mine bought that piece. I've thought about building one of these kits. They're really nicely detailed, but they're a bit expensive. Still, you're paying for the quality of the sculptor's work.

I want to say Riccardo Ruberti did that one. He comes to MFCA pretty much every year.
