This was my second Historex mtd figure (eventually I'll get to my first Historex and other earlier mtd figures in other threads). I used all Historex parts for this figure, substituting the head with a Historex resin head. I tried to avoid the stiff mannikin look by doing extensive modification to all the parts (I had a copy of Bill Ottinger's book as inspiration then). The basic kit was a mtd Chasseurs kit, with hands, bassoon from spares. Main reference for this figure was the series of Bucquoy books.
Now that I am in a major Napoleonic refurbishing mode, I dug out this old piece and took a pic of it for ref. Noticed that the photos here were not that great. Anyway, I've decided to add leaves to the tree to set off the piece.
