My first commissioned work beautifully painted by Attica Miniature

A huge thanks to Ivan and his artist who have been very helpful and attentive to my needs all the way through, especially for taking the hassle off me by ordering the model from Le Meridiana because I can't read Italian!

I'm extremely happy to incoporate it into my early gunpower unit series. Attica took a very realistic approach on its execution. The equipments of the soldier - Lobster-tail helmet, leather buff coat, breastplate and Della Rovere's Coat of Arms etc are closely adhere to the historical accuracy. No flamboyant costume or any unnecessary details, its crudeness brings me back to 16th century war-torn Italy.

The Coat of Arms on the pavise represents a very unique period in history when Francesco Maria I Della Rovere inherited the Duchy of Urbino, which was traditionally Montefeltro's family territories.
