Wow! Really nice gesture by Andy, and I am happy you got such a great gift. That is a very nice looking set - I pre-pre-ordered one weeks ago.

Thanks Ron:)

I've dabbled with the idea of trying other ranges many times over the years and almost hit the oder button, but somehow WW2 feels like home now! :smile2: When I say that I don't mean I come home to my wife lobbing grenades and firing an MG42 at me!!{eek3}{eek3}:wink2:^&grin

Regarding a scene I want to make using this set can I ask a question of the dio experts here, has anyone cut or modified Hudson and Allens walls or cobblestone road and if so was it easy to do???

Rob

Gotta love that Rob! Congrats!! What a great hobby we're all a part of here. Andy, wonderful touch.

It was very easy to cut the H&A cobblestone road. It was too big for my glass shelf so I told Ken the shelf dimensions and the road arrived cut to the correct size. ^&grin:D

But he did tell me how it was done so just send Ken a PM and I'm sure he will give you some instruction.

Thanks Terry:) I may now be using another road surface but will be using H&A's wall and debris items. I understand the Walls are quite easy to cut. I think I may also want at least two of their French buildings by next summer.

Cheers

Rob
