I recently got some play time in with some of the sets that John gave me as caption contest prizes.

Here we see the Canadian militia caught in a heavy engagement with the enemy along the riverbank.

Their Indian allies come to rescue them and their fallen comrade. (Proof that Uber existed long before the 21st century)…..

Marvelous scene that you've put together and very well captured. One of these days, you "magic water" guys will have to do a tutorial on how you make the ripples in the water.

Mark...
nobody does FIW as well as you do...
those Autumn trees really make the picture...

how wonderful these pictures! I often say that there would be still many sets to be issued for that period!
bravo!!

Incredible display, setup and photography, Mark.
You really do justice to John's work. Yep', that background makes things pop.

Is that a "water/grass mat" [from Build-A-Rama for example] or "magic water" and your own creation...?:rolleyes2:

Great photos. If this was a caption contest, I would say "Business as usual in Canada."

Beautiful, a true treat to the eyes, very well made and photographed! You can live the true intensity of Canada`s fantastic fall colors! Congratulations!

Nice prize from the Caption competition Mark. They would go well opposing my Caption acquisitions. Regards Greg.

Greg,

Yes, it would be nice if our dio's could somehow merge into one big scene. Love your set up.

Too bad we aren't neighbors.
