George,

You are spoiling us! You have been busy this weekend with your battles. Excellent as usual. ^&cool

Apart from ACW & Naps what other periods do you collect?

Jeff

Thanks Jeff, enjoyed both of these set ups.

Aside from ACW and Napoleonics, I also collect WWII; Pacific, ETO, Eastern Front and Italy/Sicily..........

Great set-up, as usual, George. I can't express it often enough that the massed troops are just fantastic. Always amazed at the painting and detail. Is that the 28th Massachusetts I see in there?:wink2: -- Al

Outstanding! Did you paint them yourself? Great looking layout {sm4}

Thanks for the feedback, I painted about half of the Union troops and about a third of the Confederates......

Thanks Al, good eye by you, the Irish Brigade is indeed in this set up, 63rd, 69th, 88th NY, 28th MA and 116th PA...................

Very nicely done. I am trying to learn to paint myself, your work is encouraging to say the least, thanks for sharing.

Thanks for the feedback, painting is a process, each figure you paint looks better than the last one, practice makes perfect, you'll get the hang of it quicker than you think.............

hey George...pretty cool stuff...always like to look at your displays...very nice as usual....

George your set ups allways look like good old fun...Thanks for sharing.

George

Once again a stirring and very professional set-up-Just Keep 'em coming

Had you any particular battle in mind when you put this latest epic together?

I only ask as my Diaries are fast approaching Appomattox and I need some inspiration on where I'm going with my troops after the final chapter is posted

Thanks Bob, I am the junior Civil War diaries to your preferred scale mastery, you actually inspired me to dive back into my ACW collection with your diaries, so thanks so much for resparking my interest in the ACW.

I was going for sort of a Cold Harbor theme with this one, I recently picked up two more of the hasty works defensive positions at Historicon, giving me three of those and was itching to put them into a display, so I went with this one.

I've actually got a MUCH larger one planned, so stay tuned........
