A civil war battle..............in 20mm (1 Viewer)

It's always nice to see you at play George an thanks for sharing it with us. See you at the show............Joe

Thanks Joe, playing beats working anyday of the week, twice on Sunday.........will see you in October..............

Nice work on your diorama. I enjoy viewing the scenes. That is one great display.

On a side note: My Tiger tank kit is not making any progress lately. I put on muffler shields wrong and have to re do it. I spent days looking for the tiny muggleputin that fits into the turret after it flew away from my tweezers. Not good.{sm3}{eek3} ^&grin John

Thanks John, always nice to hear from you. I hate it when those parts go flying off the sprue.........I'll expect that tank to be done and brought to OTSN for myself and Pat to see, so get cracking.........{sm4}

Well George now you've helped push me over the edge. It doesn't really take much but your wonderful display convinced me I HAVE to do the American Civil War in a smaller scale. Doing a trade with a friend of mine for some 28mm REDOUBT ACW and I sent the Perry twins an order for some sets. I had swore the 54mm collection was my LAST time doing ACW.Duplicating yet another period in yet another scale. Doesn't everybody?
Great stuf as usual George.

Fubar, I do the Civil War in 28mm and 40mm.

For 28mm I also Perry, along with Old Glory 2nd Edition and Sash and Saber.

Thanks Scott, always nice to hear from you, looking forward to seeing you depict the ACW in 28mm, this is going to be great, keep me posted..........

Thanks Jeff, enjoyed both of these set ups.

Aside from ACW and Napoleonics, I also collect WWII; Pacific, ETO, Eastern Front and Italy/Sicily..........

THE PACIFIC! Now, George, I would love to see a dio with the Pacific theme and your normal superior talents. The NAP diorama was GREAT; the Civil War was even better (IMO) but I can’t wait to see a down and dirty brawl with the 3rd Marine and Tojo’s boys.

Thanks Larry, I'll be working on a few things shortly........

Hi George,

It is Sunday morning in my part of the world and I am relaxing here with a cup of coffee and corned beef sandwiches. I always enjoy viewing your 20mm displays, be it Napoleonic, ACW or WWII. It is almost "therapeutic" to leisurely view dioramas after a week of hard work in the office.

Best Wishes, Raymond:)
