A Day of Play (1 Viewer)

A great looking photo Joe - don't often get to see cowboy scenes - very nicely done. Great chatting with you this afternoon - hopefully when the weather breaks and spring is in the air we can get together for some qulaity "paytime" together . . . .

I'm not sure where to post this shot. It should go under "Marx Plastic" or "Dreamwish Playsets" or even "Vintage Playsets" (though it is only a facsimile of a vintage set.) This is my one of a kind "Legend of Jesse James" set made up of conversions and single color painted figures.

Terrific,
nothing beats the "Wild West" when thinking of Toy Soldiers back when being a kid.
Thanks for posting.

Most of the buildings are made by Alan Roberts. He hand makes them and sells two or three a week on eBay. (They get listed every Tuesday like clockwork.) Some other buildings are by B and T Products. Then there are the Marx tin litho pieces and a New Ray farm house, a BMC house and the Britains barn.

Thanks for the info, if i could afford to venture further into collecting, i would look at getting some of these building as well as the figures. Love the wild, wild west!!

Thanks for the photos Joe of your western town and figures. I like the west figures and buildings the best. I am working on painting more cavalry and plains Indians. The West always keeps my interests. Nice work. John

I like your painted figures the best pardner - and as a lover of Westerns for a very long time too - love what you've done with them in your Western Town.

They're all just great = keep up the good work.

Keep an eye out for a Cowboy Band from me later on this year - and some Western Stars too. I'm pretty goldurn sure they would fit into your town with no problem at all pardner. Yer durn tootin' = :D{sm2} Johnnybach
