Hi Guys,

In just over 3 weeks K&C will be in Chicago for the “BIG ONE”… can’t wait. This is just to let you know that even manufacturers love this show and get excited by it!

Now down to basics…

1. What is the new series?

Well, we’ve been hard at work on two but we’ll only show one in Chicago… the other will come a wee bit later.

2. What is it?

You’ll have to wait till the “Windy City” for that… But I can tell you what it’s not! And that is ALL of the weird and wonderful guesses by some of our “Forum Friends”… not even close by a very long mile!!! Science Fiction… Thirty Years War… French Foreign Legion… The Rennaissance… ah the list is endless.

Sorry to disappoint you but all will be revealed very soon.

3. Gordon’s Chicago’s Dioramas

As you might imagine we are keeping Gordon chained to his workbench night and day in the run up to Chicago. We do allow him brief 10 minute naps every hour… whether he needs them or not!

He’s completed some great ones already and is hard at work on a few more. In all seriousness he’s a very talented boy… of course I’m biased I’m his brother!!!

Best wishes and happy collecting!

Andy C.

I didn't see the British - India - Afghan wars ruled out there, but they have been done anyway the experts tell me and so have Airmen sets such as Battle of Britain pilots etc. I guess we'll have to wait and see.

Has anyone done a series of Airfield Vehicles and Equipment yet

Can't believe no-body has got it yet:D:D Have to keep guessing :D ..Satsuma Rebellion ..Cool film "The Last Samuri" and great soundtrack:D:D

Shhhhh RH, you'll upset the large 'We Hate Tom Cruise' Club ;) :D

I think even the most ardent anti-tom would get a guilty pleasure from watching that one:D

My wife reckons he's an arrogant little tick but I don't mind his acting and Last of the Samurai was one of his better movies but War of the Worlds would be my fav TC film. I'm actually disappointed Sci Fi ISN'T a new K & C range ;)

if that's the case i'm almost certain to look out for every figure.. except tom.

I'm hoping the new series has to do with the Spanish "conquest" of Mexico and/or South America (Aztec, Inca, etc) or early exploration of the North American continent......

Maybe something with a Naval theme, but who knows?:)

What we know for sure is (i)t will be a theme that has not been done before by any manufacturer... in matte finish, 1:30 scale???

Then, the list is effectively endless... and, to my knowledge, for example, NWF was never done in matte finish, 1:30 scale by any manufacturer... or, what would have my preference, the Boxer Rebellion...

Good point Pierre, I forgot that most of the previous stuff were all glossies.

Not even a hint as to what the dio's will be? Last year we had movies and a couple pictures before the event! Come on...tease us!

Once again, no mention of Northwest Frontier action??? This could be a good sign. I do not anticipate being able to make it to the show this year Andy, but if you were to, let's say, send me an ultra secret message confirming my suspicion is true I would somehow find a way to make it happen and thank you in person.
