Hello. I recently bought a few 95th Rifles having just finished a great book by Mark Urban. I had an e-mail from TGM this morning with a tantalising "redcoats on the way" for March 2013 releases so fingers crossed they'll be Napoleonic to go with the 95th.

Unfortunately I've blown Jan/Feb/Mar budget on some JJD Wooodland Indians and the TGM Foreign Legion also look inviting so I'll have to either (1) persuade Mrs Simmo to increase the budget (2) just buy them, hide them near the back for a bit and then claim to have had them ages!

Does anybody else do this!?!

Nice tank and the Rolls Royce (not shown here) is very good too. WWI not my cup of tea though; as for the British paras I have no such troops of any maker, so I'll pass. Saving $ for March...^&grin

I'm quite staggered about the Rolls Royce. Two models of the same vehicle by two manufacturers coming out at the same time. Has caught me unawares. My first instinct is that I like JJD's more but not sure if this more to do with brand loyalty but I am hoping the flag on JJ's is detachable.

I got to see the A7V up close in London and I thought it looked a bit cheap and plastic and a bit of an anticlimax (sorry for any offence, just my opinion) and it's not for me but the overall build of the RR looks far and away superior to the A7V and I think I might well be tempted.

saw the RR last night when checking the site and, it looks very nice and, so glad there is no flag as the one on JJD makes it look a bit nasty IMO. Have a pic of one in German hands and it would be a great little project.

However, we seem to be straying where are the Panzers, Tigers PanzerIV's and such???

When I see something I have ordered in multiples I get concerned when somebody (an apparent TG fan) describes it as looking "a bit cheap and plastic". Having now seen the A7V's I no longer have any concerns as in my opinion they do not look cheap and plastic. The packaging might be considered cheap as it is a simple white cardboard box with item code but this is something some forum members have been asking for. But then again K&C and Jenkins also have some plain white boxes so no big deal.

No, they really are not very good.
