Hi Mike,

Thanks for sharing these photos of an amazing collection! Please let us know which auction house he decides to use to sell all of these soldiers. I know I would be interested in several of the sets in the photos.

Hi Dave,

You are welcome. He doesn't plan on using an auction house, but I will let you guys know when he is ready. Don't forget to check out the other threads that show his collection that I started under "dioramas" to see more of what he has. NB: I still wish we could have a "collections" section on the forum to consolidate all the various collections that have been posted by me and others.

Mike

Continuing... The last print is entitled "The Germans to the Front" and is signed by various individuals who took part in the Boxer Rebellion campaign in 1900.

Al, it is my pleasure to share Ed's collection with you guys. It is a great, unique collection, to be sure. The French alpine set was made by the late Dan Bohline. If you look closely, you can see the $250 price. Mikwe

Still more.

This morning I visited Ed at his office in Orange County. Although Ed's two sons run the nine McDonalds restaurants now, Ed goes to his office almost everyday. He has some toy soldier displays and artwork in his office which I thought I would share with you.

The last photo in the previous post and the first photo in this post are of a display made up of King & Country Napoleonic cavalry and special Britains British infantry produced only in 2005 which I have never seen before. A Metal Shed World War I Hanley-Paige bomber. A wooden model of a Dutch whaler made in Italy.
