Not saying this is 100% of what is to come - but, I did get to see some pictures of new Special Limited Edition Figures to be made by King & Country for ToySoldiers Paris !

1) French Foreign Legion Figure

2) Franco-Prussian War French Figure

....The Chair is Against The Wall....Wounds My Heart With Monotonous Languor...

Thanks for the info Ron.
I have a lot of the KC/Hachette FFL figures, and they are fantastic. This is something new to look forward to.

Cheers,
Benjamin

No one seems to understand

If Andy is doing a special dealer figure for TOYSOLDIERS PARIS - wouldn't they be the most likely new lines coming ???

Although, Hachette have done the French Foreign Legion throughly (i'm guessing K&C produced the figures for them), Andy said the new line was something not done before:eek: Not sure about the Franco-prussian one

I just cannot see it being the Franco- Prussian war. That is an important conflict no doubt but it is the domain of scholars not collectors I am afraid.

I must respectfully disagree, especially if these are figures that will be marketed in Europe. The Franco-Prussian War is still relatively popular among collectors of both conoisseur and "toy" figures, especially in Germany, and France. At least, that's my observation from the other forums to which I belong.

Prost!

I hope you are right. I had forgotten about the European market. With the Euro being so strong and K and C seeming to do so well in France you never know. It will certainly be a very colourful series.

There was a Jeanne D'Arc limited edition in France (and still is) but no new range came after this nice figurine...

Yea - That was different, it was a mounted figure with BIG FRENCH INTERESTS - the figures that I saw were Single Figures and in a movement pose - not even in a Action or Celeb Figure - thats why i think these are apart of something bigger !

So - now that we know my picks are Kaput ! :(

What is the consensus now ??
