First version of The 59th Regiment from the Kabul to Khandahar - Second Afghan War - 1878 - 1880.

Standing firing set# A. 11, when sold as a single figure

Kneeling firing set# A. 12, when sold as a single figure

Both figures were available in a box set of 6, set# AS.2

Many thanks Martyn for the info. They came unboxed - six loose figures - 3 kneeling firing and 3 standing firing. Were these regular production? What other regiments did Len produce? I know only of the 66th. Any further info always appreciated :smile2: Thanks. Lawrence

Looks like you found set AS.2

For the NWF Len produced

8th Regiment
59th Regiment
66th Regiment
42nd Highlanders Seaforth
72nd Highlanders Gordon
92nd Highlanders Black Watch

That's funny, I always thought the Black Watch was the 42nd, the 72nd was the Seaforths and the 92nd was the Gordons. Is it possible Len mixed up the numbering of the regiments in the catalogue?
