Chris mate,
How sweet it is. Looks like Bomber Command waiting for "G" for George to return from a successful mission. Count me in.
Looking forward to catching up in Chicago.^&grin
Cheers Howard

Sign me up-I am buying and will be in Chicago. I saw one at the WestCoaster two years ago and signed up for it but it never came to life-at least that was what the gents from The Old Toy Soldier Home in Vista told me. Beautiful looking setup!

Good question Rob.
I have been working with Andy to develop a couple of items that they could not fit into there schedule.
The tower will be on display in the King and Country room at the show.
We have a couple of other surprises to follow.

Chris

THEN I'M IN!!!

Thanks Chris much appreciated!

Rob

Look forward to seeing the sets. Is this a prototype and will the windows be changed if these are made for production??
Mitch

Does it fly, can you drive it? No!!!
Do I need it, do I want it? Oh yes!!!!
Looking at the size of it, how much is it going to cost?

I believe Chris Munro's items are not production items made by K & C but items he makes to order. My recollection is that how it went for the boat that goes with the Marines range.

Thats a shame, still, very nice model{bravo}}

I have been to the Soldier Factory several time and Chris does great work. I am in as well. By the way Chris we have not talk for a while but we need to discuss the ship.

So if K&C can't produce the complete 3D version of a control tower, how about a half inch deep facade ?
Would look nice next to my 2 Nissen hut facades made by JG!

That control tower is nice and you make an excellent suggestion humbug. The sheer size and cost of such a piece would make it unlikely to appeal to a substantial number of collectors therefore a fascade would work. It's physically smaller and therefore easier to display with limited space and ofcourse more economical. I'd buy a fascade if one was made available. K&C has done a good job with fascades (i.e. recent Norman church) so I'm sure its a possibility.

Thanks for your support CFM, now we have to 'sell' this idea to K&C.......

I would buy a facade like that. It would also be nice to have a small 3D tower like the AK version.
