A member asked me to post pictures of my elephants. I decided we needed an elephant thread. Please post pictures of any elephants that you have in your collection!

I have several but not as many or as nice as yours. I’m surprised there’s not a dumbo in the bunch.

Zach, you need the elephant pulling the boat. I don't think it was Beau Geste, but another company from Argentina. I'm sure other members here are familiar with set.

There are certainly some beautiful Elephants in this lot. Robin.

Here are a couple of mine, both by Trophy. I have a couple more, which I will try to post tomorrow.

The first one is my favorite. I located it at a small Australian dealer but he was loath to ship it to the US so I asked Howard if he could help out and Howard graciously paid for it (I reimbursed him, of course) and he hand carried it to the US a few months later. He's a true gentleman. When I look at the elephant, I always think of Howard.

Thanks Zach for accommodating my request. Your collection is fabulous! Great idea to have everyone post here on a separate thread.

I didn't realize the many ways these great creatures were used. Love the way some of them were decorated too!

Awesome stuff!

Wonderful elephant collection Zach!!!! The two Chinese ones by Vityaz & Nevskaya just bowl me over. The PB50 Carthaginian one is another favorite. You have a stunning collection! Thanks for sharing the pics.

Joe

Another one by Trophy. The three I've shown so far are all from the Indian range.

Its another related Donzino family company, my son has the set, and its really quite nice. I'll post some photos when I get home.

I think you're referring to Four Feathers. They made some really nice stuff.

Trophy made some nice elephants, still waiting on Little Legion's :wink2:
