My prediction is (WS230) a Arty piece for it to tow or something along those lines.

So on your plan Wayne, one towing, one not, one with hood, one not. Up to 4 at $189 each, adding up.{sm4}, Robin.

more than likely wayne but, I would expect a PAK or similar or a flak gun.

Oh, I don't know about that. It would be a perfect surprise for Chicago and in eight years of collecting and knowing Andy, I've learned that he changes his mind.

Now that Paras are back after a long period, can an 88 not be far behind, not to mention FJs?

Andy's own words back in April of this year......................

Hi Guys,
Just thought I’d catch up with a few different threads on the Forum…

1. DAK 88?

Like some of you blokes I love the “88” but no plans for another at this stage… for the following reasons…Very costly to manufacture and very expensive to sell. In today’s tough economy it’s better (at least as far as K&C is concerned) to put more emphasis on the small and medium vehicles and guns

I'm not doubting he said that but he has been known to change his mind. As a long time collector, I've seen him do it enough mind. Guess we'll just find out, one way or the other, in the future.

Im for Andy changing his mind a GREY 88 to top off a GREYttttt year....................^&grin

Brad, There is nothing to doubt. I copy and pasted Andy's comments from the Thread: Odds "n" ends vol. II Dated 02/04/2013 ........Really !

Dude, relax, it's not a big deal. One of us will be right and one of us will be wrong.

Let's not try to make an argument where one doesn't exist :wink2:

To quote those glorious words, "This is after all a Toy Soldier Forum.......Can't we discuss this like adults."

Shall we move on? ^&cool

it really is not a big deal, just giving you some valid information from the man himself ^&grin

Nope, Andy already mentioned doing an 88 again would be too expensive .

{sm4}.....Well, I belive it, as in about 3 years KC prices have doubled, I don' t even want to imagine how much would it cost today....

My money would be on a single barrelled 20cm flak. The 88 would be to big to be towed by the Demag.

Brad,

You seem to be "hyping" the possibility of a Flak but clearly you have forgotten what happened with the most recent BBG flak gun and the damage rate. I am pretty sure K&C have a long enough production list without having to worry about another Flak gun.

Whilst collectors are enthusiastic for Flak guns the reality is they are high risk to produce. Too many small parts and too delicate.

Good luck to anybody who wants to produce one.

Regards
Brett

Wayne....

I am about three quarters of the way to completing one of the old versions into a grey version. It looks much better grey

I don't think we will see another 88 for quite a while, but if we do I hope it is more like WS57.
