Guys,

The boyz have a few questions about the figures. What would you like to be done? Germans, Americans, Russians, other nationalities...? Doing what? Attacking, defending, resting, eating, running...?

We are all ears :)

Ana

I will happily take a stab at this one-

Do Romans :D

Seriously, I think I may get pummeled by a lot of my fellow collectors but I think WW2 ETO- US, British, Wehrmacht, etc are in abundance- though they are selling. If I were to compile a wish list, I would ask for a company to take a stab-a serious stab- at the War in the Pacific- Americans, Japanese and Commonwealth troops- any of the poses you mention would work- attacking/ defending, etc.

I would also like to see more Russians- my Eastern Front collection has been sitting idle for several years now- so idle that I may scrap the collection.

Otherwise, I think AK and those figures have been done to death- add more British EA and US troops into the mix. I think the Italians are sorely underepresented as well. Some of the Italian Tankettes are needed, British Crusader, etc- you get the picture.

BUT BUT BUT- If this were my wishlist- I'd take an M1A2 Abrams, Bradley or LAV Stryker for the GWOT/OIF- but, alas, I am in the minority here. :(

A winterized Bulge King Tiger would be nice too.

Any of the poses can be worked with- collectors can make the poses work with what they have already.

Take care and as always, great job with everything!!

Humm , iam looking for german mine detec or laying set. A german flame thrower would be cool ! Some germans with the mg44.

Speaking for me, Ana, I would like to see British troops and vehicles.

Thanks, Brad :) British will be

Thank you, Tommy, all your suggestions are so useful. We have the German radio team ready and to be released in 8 weeks or so. The boyz loved the other options.

Ana

I would really love to see the German Medic team with an injured man on the stretcher. That would really be nice.

Do something KC has not done to death. For example, the Spanish Blue Division in Russia or Finnish Ski Troops. Maybe you could even do a few generic axis sets and provide the collector with options like selecting the nationality or specific division they want?

I'd like to see a German flamethrower team or perhaps a German 80mm Mortar w/ crew. Brits (1944-1945) and Russians in summer uniforms are way under done. The dream set would be some WWII Ghurka troops.

For me Anna, i would like to see HB tries out either

1) campaign dioramas

For eg, DDay, Kharkov, Stalingrad, Market Garden, etc ..

The customers can choose

a diorama (3 sizes)
figures
armour

For eg, lets say, the Stalingrad diorama,

a customer can upscale to a large diorama (your current diorama being regular size) with desperately defending whermacht, fleeing civilians, charging Soviet infantry, soon-to-be doomed panzer iii and/or soviet t34 tank.

The good part of this if the collector only collects 1 side only (for eg, only germans) he could still get the diorama with the defending whermacht, and it's to be doomed panzer iii.

or

2) Picture dioramas

Dioramas based on famous pictures -

eg, 1.Eisenhower with paratroopers, 2.landing at Omaha (DDay), 3.King Tiger & fallsgirmjager, 4. Smokig grenadiers (Battle of the bulge) etc..

Pls see pic attached for examples.

With this Anna, there will be no problems for collectors to research about tank nos/units etc, as many of these are available either in pics or are available informations.

My 2 cents.

Sincerely,

Nasir Kasmani.

Hi Anna,

and lest should i forget, I would like to see HB do other armoured vehicles like Puma, or Sdk 251.

Especially Sdk 251 with its Grenadiers!

Sincerely,

nasir kasmani.

Sd.Kfz.250/1 Neu halftrack, both American and German medic teams, and civilians.

Ana,

About a year or so ago, weren't you thinking about making some 250s or 251s? I seem to recall something like that.

I like Doug's idea about the Spanish Blue Division and would actually love to see something relating to the Spanish Civil War. Unfortunately, I don't know if the Spanish Civil War would have much appeal to collectors.

Thanks, Breaker :)
Thanks again, Brad.
Nasir, Thank you for your ideas. Did you get my email?
Thank you, Alex :)

I feel that Honour Bound should not get to carried away with unusual requests. Most guys collect WWII vehicles and figures and German based stuff is the most popular.

Therefore it makes sense to bring out another German vehicle, especially one that hasn't been made in 1/30 scale and there are plenty of those.

Imo the following would be good sellers:

1) Sd Kfz 182 Tiger II (King Tiger): Winter, Two color (Autumn) and three color (Summer) variations.

2) Sd Kfz 250 (and or larger 251) halftrack: Winter, Desert (Rommel) and standard Grey color.

3) Sd Kfz 234/2 Puma heavy armoured car that fought on the Eastern and Western fronts

4) Sd Kfz 186 Jagdtiger that was so large I doubt if K & C will ever make it.

5) Sd Kfz 162/1 being the Panzer IV/70 tank destroyer.

The Hetzer that K & C recently retired would also look great in true 1/30 scale.

Ana,

If your question is purely related to figures, I'd personally like to see action figures, whether they be German, American, Commonwealth or whatever. I like the types of poses not regularly done in 1/30, eg, looking / firing around buildings, running figures and the type of "life or death" action poses such as the CS Arnhem hand to hand set and some of the Conte WWII "all out" poses (apologies for excessive [mis-]use of quotes:eek:).

I would back the call for more British and Commonwealth Infantry figures.

Simon
