A quick hello from me! (1 Viewer)

Guys, just wanted to thank each and every single one of you who took the trouble to post a reply here, it's very kind of you and I really do appreciate all of them. What a splendid bunch of chaps you all are:salute:: I will be posting more often now as I begin to get back to normal...well as normal as I get anyway!:wink2: Its been a horrible six months (even worse for my poor wife who had to watch it all unfold in front of her) but getting back into the hobby is another step in returning to the Status Quo . (superb live band too!:salute::^&cool) As I say was gutted to miss this last show in London but have already booked time off for the next one in December at which I look forward to seeing many old friends again and buying the UK Treefroggers and our foreign visitors a drink or two in the bar. And Simon, I might even buy you fish and chips mate:salute::

My friend Sammy asked about my recent purchases, to be honest Sammy I've not purchased anything this year at all.....yeah how mad is that....but just have been totally preoccupied by the things life throws at us now and again.

So thank you once again my friends and I look forward to joining in again soon.

Best to one and all
Rob

Hi Rob,

Never met you or engaged with you before but, having just been through a major health shock and hospitalisation myself, you have my sympathy and best wishes for a speedy recovery to full health.

I am supposed to be at half day capacity for work but have done the LTSS this weekend and work four days worth of hours in two days, today... you guessed.

get yourself well soon.

Very best wishes from Malcolm at EMM :salute::

Hi Malcolm,

Absolute pleasure to meet you here on the forum and thank you for your good wishes. I hope you are fully recovered very soon and back to normal asap, I know how hard this is.

All the best
Rob

Glad you checked in Rob, I was beginning to think the worst. {eek3} I figured denying your passion for this forum and toy soldiers could only happen if you were incapacitated. This forum just isn't the same for me when you're not involved. I've only picked up the K&C Zero this year and my forum participation has been lacking due to a rough year as well. Recently my mom passed away and its kind of sapped my enthusiasm for a lot of things recently. :redface2: Anyways, really glad to see you're on the mend, take it easy but as a previous member indicated I think participation in the hobby is medicine for what ails you and probably me too. Cheerio mate. :salute::

good thing you hear Rob
I also hope to be there again in December
So I wish you all the best and see you in December
Dutch greetings from your friends
Richard:salute::
