I woke early today and was so excited about seeing the latest Jenkins releases… but there was nothing.then i realised it was the 14th here in Sydney and therefore the 13th in the US…. And thats why there is nothing today, John hates 13.
Anyone know when we are getting May release info? Hopefully Thursday???? Fingers crossed

Seriously? When I saw your thread title, I thought someone died/there was a terrorist attack on Australia......................fear not, JJD will announce the new figures soon, then it will be a happy day in Oz.

Oh sorry mate, i didnt mean to startle anyone. Its all good George, just cant wait to hear how John is going to empty my wallet next month. Take care mate

Yes forgot John has a thing about the 13th, but then again so do I when it falls on a Friday. The good news, my bank account will not take a hit at least for one more day. The Zulu, Gold Rush and Gladiator series are certainly knocking the bank balance around.🤪. Robin.

I'm hoping to see the final set from the United Empire Loyalists series tomorrow. And maybe a surprise from the Advent calendar - Battle of Albuera?

I thought the same, possibly it was about Mike from Sierra passing away. However, not intentional and no intended harm or foul as they say.
On JJD, to save time and waiting for the releases, do you think we should set up a monthly direct debit and send him our money anyway........it is like a cult. I am waiting for some more Jacobites, have started the Refugee and Settlers series. Bought a JJD tank, only my second, would like to see some crew and i am still getting a few from other ranges i collect.

I am also hoping for Jacobites, zulu war figures, Wheats Tigers, some ancients and maybe some Hitites

My April order is waiting to be shipped next week. While I can afford it I just ordered 90% of all JJD releases each month. Done so for the past 7 years. I only purchased a few sets prior to that. Mainly Jacobite Rebellion, French/Indian Wars, Peninsular War, War of the Roses and Spanish Civil War with a sprinkling of Knights of the Skies planes and ground crew.

The figures mostly remain unopened in storage but I am determined to take some time out and go through this huge haul over the next 6 months and maybe set up a few small displays.

The next issue of Toy Soldier Collector magazine does carry and article on the AWI with JJD Bunker Hill range taking centre stage when I briefly set up a diorama on my lounge floor. My wife insisted this was taken down immediately after it was photographed unfortunately.

There will a lot of box opening when retirement comes my way and probably a lot less purchasing.
