A Tiger in the mist (2 Viewers)

Here is a shot of my Figarti Winter Tiger, one of the first 5 made, on a Ken Osen diorama made to display it and the Figarti horse drawn German artillery, with a prototype Figarti T-34 85 with the "bed springs" behind the windmill:

I remember that diorama!!! it was a absolutely beautifully done piece.

I might be coming to the 2018 Chicago Show as well Louis so I hope to pop over to the big apple and say gidday and see that awesome dio and your collection mate.

Tom,

It would be my pleasure to host you as well.

Here are a couple of images of that set of two dioramas that were built for the show. There was some confusion in the communication as far as the size needed, that is why it was so big and I had always wanted to build a wind mill and it gave me the chance. I had originally thought there were going to be several sets of new infantry in this release too. I really enjoyed building these Eastern front structures and hope to return to that subject sometime in the future.

If I'm not mistaken, the second diorama, with the ruined barn and hay stack, is in the magnificent collection of good friend Steven Chong.

That Figarti T-34 and the Figarti Winter Tiger are two of the best AFV's ever done in this hobby....Thank you Louis for showing them off.:salute::....Figarti really did some great stuff....Things that we are likely never to see again by anyone......I have the Tiger and I wanted one of those T-34's but could never find one....Very few of those T-34's were made is my understanding.....I do have 3 Versions of the Figarti Stukas:smile2: also excellent releases and SADLY never again likely to be re-done.....Figarti WWII is surely missed by our hobby

The Figarti Tiger Is have equaled or excelled the Honor Bound Gold Tiger I's IMO. The newest contender for the best Tiger I is First Legion. A three way comparison review of these Tiger Is will be very interesting!

Those Figarti Tigers were of very good quality and at $169 retail were priced very reasonably....The Figarti Winter Tiger with the kill rings was even better as was the Figart Desert Tiger and at $269 each they were likely the best, most detailed Tiger Tanks ever made in this hobby........The Figarti Stukas were also excellent
