During the Second World War millions of women of all nations were the silent heroes of that conflict, they tended their families, worked in the fields and factories, served as mothers, wives, sisters and daughters as their men folk went off to the fronts, they were nurses and many fought along side the men in many parts of world. They were true silent heroes, my mother was one of them.
A tribute to them all.....Chloris Mabel Roberts 20th June 1921 - 25th July 2012. Will always be loved and never forgotten.

Lest we forget.
Wayne.

Please add my sincere condolences on the recent loss of your Mother. Tough times, I know, having lost my mom almost one year ago. I believe it is important to try to remember all the times that you shared, the funny ones, the happy ones, the difficult times and the sad times. My thoughts and prayers go out to you sir! -- Larry

May you accept my condolences for the lost of your mother.

In my family every male from above the age of my mothers youngest brother was killed in WWII. My mother was our guiding light and the only reason we made it through. When I lost her it was like the world had ended for a short time.

Then I realized she was with God..........I am jealous that he has her company now.
