Here is the finished dio .
It shows a mixture of German troops retreating to a safer zone, and coming under attack of allied fighter bombers.
Bad timing for the German soldier who is just answering a "call of nature".

Only half of the bonnet has been replaced with a spare part from another Opel truck, in this case from a wrecked or broken down Opel ambulance.
Towards the end of the war it was "improvisation" all the way, more the "help yourself" attitude.
So it's only 1/2 playing dirty
