Mike I bought a tripod from our dollar store for $1. Granted it is a tabletop tripod but maybe worth a look at.

OK, here's how you do it. The tripod comes from a different budget line. It comes from the "family" budget line. Get it so as to take pictures of the grandkids, family Christmas etc. Talk about wanting to use it at the next family BBQ. Anything but toy soldiers! Besides, all you need is a simple tripod, and they are pretty cheep! So, buy both!

I'll check around here locally Scott. Tripods can be inexpensive for just small basic ones. I just need to get out and do the shopping.
