ACW - Horse Flesh, Blood, and Determination (1 Viewer)

Hello all!
I finished the epoxy putty repair/re-sculpting this morning. I took a couple of quick pictures on the bench along side a stock figure. I think when I repaint this he will get medium blue trousers and a frock coat repaint to an infantry officer (light blue collar and cuffs) for further variety.

A photo of the converted figure alone. I think the 'whiskers' give him some character. I still need to add the scabbard throat under the saddle.

I hope you enjoy following along!

Very nice Ken, will you be repainting the horse or perhaps a slight change to head or maybe both. Either way looks great.

Man oh man that is really great looking! Making me want to add some new figures to the few ACW figures I have hidden away... i will probably be able to resist since he isnt a Cavalry figure but it will be a battle...{sm2}

Thanks for sharing them with us Ken

Hi there,
I will repaint the mount a bit, and perhaps rework the tail, but not much as I must move on to other projects. As much as I would like to do more than less, my world is goverened by deadlines!
Thanks for asking,
Ken

Absolutely incredible. Can't wait to see it in hand at the museum event . . . .

That's really Nice. A few well done changes - and presto ! A whole new figure. I think that will get quite a few bids at the upcoming event in Madison.

Nice figures, a conversion of Union cavalry for the future? and offered for sale for all collectors^&grin
