OK, we have Napoleons and Parrots, but when will we see that other most common piece of ACW Field Artillery --the 3 in Ordnance Rifle?

Troiani made a nice ordnance rifle and I'm thinking that was in conjunction with Britains maybe. I could be way off about that. Definitely a nice piece though.

Not a very good picture of it but here it is in my artillery park. Right rear of photo. The fellow is about to move it using a trail spike.

Ken Osen sculpted a 3-inch ordnance rifle for Don Trioani Historical Miniatures. I have one and use it in a mixed Confederate battery with three other 10-pound Parrott Guns. I have suggested a few times that perhaps this gun should be produced by WB . . .

Mike/Ken, what piece is with the Fire At the Angle set? It's not a Parrott. Chris

Britain's did one in 2002 I think set #17465 3" Ordnance Rifle.

I agree... It seems like most recently, Napoleons and Parrots are being produced for all of the Britains ACW artillery sets and no 3-inch Rifles. I wonder why that is? ^&confuse
