I only have 2 FL ACW figures so far but I'm hooked. Great figures!!!
Wow this is a very cool scene indeed, some superb diorama work here and your ground and tree work is just superb. Just love dio's with this sort of work level^&cool The two figures are also excellent and I've said many times that in my view the ACW is FL's strongest range.
Rob
FL has many strong ranges not the least of which are WWII Stalingard and FL Naps which is their flagship line....Crusaders, etc. (a long list of excellence and depth of range).... Simply Fantastic Products released consistently.....What more can be said....Simply excellent detailed sculpts and painting.....First Legion Rules.
Rob, My view is that "without question" and "by far" First Legion excells in many of their ranges......That "view" is based on observation.... FL Stalingrad WWII, WWII Normandy,Vietnam, Crusaders, FL Naps SUPERB , Reniassance Figures etc are definitely HIGH LEVEL across the board....Sorry guy but to those of us who know and collect these ranges,We speak from experience....I firmly re-affirm post#29......We all have our "views"....but.....I guess it all depends on the eyeglasses we wear.^&grin:wink2:
^&grin
Again, thanks for your opinion Frank. we all have them. Mine is that the ACW is a superb range and includes some terrific poses and paint jobs.
Rob
Rob, I'm sure First Legion ACW it is a great range as are all the other First Legion Ranges......Even though ACW is not a range I currently collect I'll take your word for it.....I know that Brad collects them....By the way do you collect FL ACW???....I can tell you that I have a sizeable collection of other First Legion Ranges that are some of the best products I have ever seen. As you know I collect FL Stalingrad WWII, First Legion Naps, Crusaders, Romans, and some Revolutionary War British. The Stalingrad WWII range is unsurpassed in quality as are the Naps which I have started to collect in earnest...The French Crussiars and calvary are the best I have ever seen....Incredible realism....Superb Sculpts and Painting....Give them a try...You many like them...ALOT.....First Legion Rules....Stay well
Hey Frank,
No I don't own any ACW FL figures as yet, but seeing them three times a year in London and in various dio's on here I know how good they are. My posts were certainly not meant to say that only the ACW are a good range, several of their other ranges also look very good to me . Perhaps I should have said that out of all of FL's ranges ACW is my personal favourite, I have an interest in the ACW that has been steadily growing over the years despite the fact that I am a dyed in the wool WW1/WW2 guy. Am very glad you are happy in what you collect Frank as that's all we really want in our hobby isn't it, otherwise whats the point! ^&grin
All the best and have a good thanksgiving!
Rob
Rob,
Clear lesson from this exchange was that unless you like the FL Frank thinks you should like it is better
not to say you prefer their ACW line which he does not collect.
Simple really.
