Aeroart majestically swept through the Westcoaster with breathtaking power and beauty. Thor had some absolutely gorgeous pieces on display, as always. Spending time with Thor is equally priceless. I share his love of miniatures and history and look forward to our annual meeting like a kid waiting for Christmas!

Here are some pics of his figures. My favorite Aeroart figure is Boudicca, and he had the must stunning version of her I have ever seen.
He had a new ancient Greek figure that comes in two variants (Thespian or Spartan) featuring a lethal looking warrior holding a severed head by the hair. Thor also had the new Cleopatra figure. It is an absolutely stunning miniature, with glistening jewelry and all. Further, no two of the many he brought were alike. She's a real show-stopper and so wonderfully sculpted.

Again it was awesome spending time with Thor and our friend Bernd who came all the way from Germany for the show. We had a fantastic time.

Joe

Thanks for taking the time to post these and all the others.

I think the Knights that aeroart does are amazing, especially the banners

Hi Joe ,
Thanks for posting these Photo's.. Some GREAT stuff {bravo}} that new General Julius Caesar Germanicus figure will be my next Aeoart purchase . He is already soldout .. Any mention in your meeting with Mr Thor of whats going on with the Marco Polo collection ?? Also did you see the new Rommel Figure ? From the photo I have seen it does not look like him at all , but you know sometimes things loook much better in person ..Thanks again Gebhard

Hi Gebhard,

Thor did have one of the Gen Julius Caesar Germanicus figures at the show, but it wasn't for sale there (I tried though!). He was just showing it along with Empress Valerina Messalina as previews of things just around the corner....I think he said both are expected in April. We didn't talk too much about the Marco Polo line beyond the buildings & columns he had. They are so very well done...just beautiful work. Great job by the Figarti / Aeroart collaboration. I did get to look at the Marco Polo Roman artillery set up close in Hobby Bunker's room....it is very nice. I didn't buy it at the show, but I sure wanted to! I do plan on getting it someday though. I just hope it's around for awhile. I also saw the Marco Polo Roman civilian set in Hobby Bunker's room. It is an eye catching set as well. In particular the dresses on the three female figures in the set are painted very nicely. Thor did show me the new Rommel figure. I had seen photos of the Rommel figure prior that did not reflect how well this figure actually showed in person. I really liked it at the show. Just like you said, sometimes with these and other figures, they actually look better in person than they do in pics under intense magnification. You can see him in the pic below. It's not a good shot, but at least you can see him amongst the Aeroart 20th Century range. I'm glad you enjoyed the pics. I really enjoy taking the pics and sharing them here. Thanks again, Joe
