In anticipation of some new additions (coming soon):
Thanks Mark. A Hawker Hurricane would be a nice addition. There is the P40 Tomahawk in the interim. You mentioning the tanks and aircraft reminds me of the classic '73 film, Death Race (aka. State of Division) starring Lloyd Bridges and DougMcClure. Cat and mouse movie involving a German tank (really an M4 Sherman) vs. a P40. Great film that you can probably watch on YouTube.Looking good, Rob! Hans-Joachim Marseille's plane got me thinking........Andy needs to create a tank buster Hawker Hurricane in desert camo from Number 6 Squadron of the RAF. The allies need something to combat the newly arrived tigers.

Thanks; tried a few different TGM mat combinations and these two didn't look too bad.Awesome display, Rob! The TGM desert and the hard standing display mats blend together quite well in your diorama!
Rob.....I've never seen that film. It sounds interesting and I'll give it a look. Thanks Mark. A Hawker Hurricane would be a nice addition. There is the P40 Tomahawk in the interim. Great setting. As pilot you use the Lewis Gunner from EA041?Thanks Mark. A Hawker Hurricane would be a nice addition. There is the P40 Tomahawk in the interim. It was one of those "made for TV movies". Let me know if you end up watching up.Rob.....I've never seen that film. It sounds interesting and I'll give it a look.

Thanks Pauck. Yes, good eye on the gunner figure. It was actually intended to be a mechanic though. That JJD Spitfire looks sharp. I own that TG Jeep as well, a great little vehicle. Now you've got me wanting to create a British airfield.Great setting. As pilot you use the Lewis Gunner from EA041?
Don't forget the JJD ACE-202 Spitfire Mk.IXc, it is a nice one
Great photos, Rob!

Great set-up and photos!
Thanks Robin, these scenes certainly fill up fast. Choosing what vehicle and figures is always a challenge with older collections.Excellent layout Rob. Very busy already, space is always an issue especially when a series continues to grow. Robin.
Hey Steve, thanks buddy. Really appreciate the kind remarks. I have a small coffee table in our family room that I've used for the last year or two to set up various "mat scenes". My collection is scattered between bookshelves and curio cabinets, most of which are more permanent displays. These mat scenes are more or less my "displays of the month" and let me enjoy favorite themes and/or new pieces for a short time, or at least until I get bored with them.Rob,
Wonderfully put together dioramas. You build so many quality scenes. I really like the airfield ones. Do you keep all of your dioramas up permanently?
Steve
