Well, I took a break from my work this afternoon and decided to try a few new angles for images of my Crusades diorama, including a bird's eDSC02062.JPGDSC02075.JPGDSC02069.JPGDSC02067.JPGDSC02072.JPGye view.

WOW ! Simply Beautiful Set-up & very nice collection there...Especially like the Cavalry !

Great photos of a splendid display! Where did you get the "Fort" from?

"Iron Brigade" / Gary

Thank you, Joe, Panzer Ace, Carlos, Wayne and Gary. Gary, the Arab walled city is from JG Miniatures. Treefrog carries his offerings. The "ancient city" towers, walls and gate are all sold separately, so you can form your castle any way you desire. In my case, I have the gate, three regular towers, two corner towers and three wall sections. I customized one tower by adding bars in the windows and John was kind enough to make me a custom wall section, with no battle damage. The regular wall sections come with battle damage. Panzer Ace, my walled city measures 73" across. The total diorama measures 73" X 42". Gary, aside from the fort, the middle eastern buildings and the entrance arch with the red and white decoration, behind the ancient city gate, are all from King & Country's Desert Village series. The whole thing is built on a piece of 1/2" plywood that I cut to size and placed atop a custom storage counter in my studio. George AKA: bearybones

Thank you for your kind words.

Awesome stuff as always. Really enjoy looking at your Crusades collection. I have a very modest one currently. :redface2: I often wonder when looking at all that chaos and all the different colours and kit how the combatants could actually tell each other apart in a skirmish!! {sm3}
