These are fantastic!! I hope they are compatible with the East of India Samurai I now have. I would love to beef up my display with some of these teriffic figures!! I'll be looking to conduct a "personal interview" at MFCA - hope they'll be available by then!!

Matt - I was looking at the FL website and SAM015 Samurai Commander w/Sashimono - Oda Clan is listed as having a November release. Is this correct - all the other new Samurai figures are being released the second half of next month.

That's an error and SAM015 is shipping second half of April with the rest of the release. It's now been corrected in our catalog.

SAM019a or SAM019b - Which figure of Sakai Tadatsugu would be more historically accurate for the battle of Nagashino; the figure with the skull sashimono SAM019a, or the figure with the skull SAM019b?

I can't even let myself think about possible First Legion versions of Romans or any kind of Knights . Just think what could be obtained with a possible Arminius and the Cherusci battling the Legions of Varus or of The Gallic wars . My GOD I don't even want to think about The Crusades getting First Legion coverage ..I sure hope that the new lines will be something I don't have a collecting interest in , so i can focus on the task at hand Napoleonics Gebhard

An old thread, but worth reviving to show my newly arrived (via-Treefrog) Samurai.

Have to say that even though these pieces are 6-7 years old, the level of craftsmanship is off the scale. Stupendous pieces and I only hope my pictures do some small justice to their quality.
