American Civil War (1 Viewer)

:D

Although its an internal US problem CFM,I have to report Great Britain is being drawn into the conflict as we speak;).I just have to decide whose side to be on!:D

Rob

The good thing about our hobby is we can be on both sides :D :D :D

Hey Titus,I thought K&C and FL would be the way to go.I thought some of K&C's Unions troops facing oncoming FL Rebs might look really nice.

Rob

I would suggest K&C and WB for the face off with a nice FL dio on it's own :)

Peter or Shannon can you provide us with a larger and cleary copy of the flyer so it can be read I was ask to ask for it......The Lt.

They look fantastic. I have been patiently waiting for these. I like Custer in his classic pose. What a great time to be a Civil War collector. Between K&C, CS, Britain's, and First Legion. I need to clear off some shelves because I will be buying them all :)

Fantastic! There has never been a K&C release so close to what I was hoping for. Today is my birthday and this announcement has made my day!:)

Two Standing Firing, one kneeling firing, two Kneeling Loading, and one Mounted Firing!!!!!!!!! Now we've got a firing line! The Best K&C has done for any range, ever.

Only problem now is the Confederates are way out gunned. Also, I wonder if the absence of a wounded figure means that Andy wasn't satisfied with the sales of the earlier Confederate wounded sets. I'd love to see a couple of wounded figures draped over the fence. You can get away with no wounded or killed Napoleonics but I think with the Civil War, they are a must. Not complaining, though. Great release! No same old same old here.

By the way, the photo is a little small so I can't quite make out all of the personality figures. Can anyone name them all?

Happy Birthday Kurt

Perhaps ... like the Confederated release, these Union guys will also be in two waves. The extra wounded & mounting up guys were what really made last year's ACW release shine.

Would also like to see ... the guy holding on to the horses for those dismounted troopers. :)

I'll take a shot at the figure ID's. From right, Burnside, Lincoln, Grant, Sherman (or Meade), and Custer. My best guess, anyway:eek:. -- Al

This is great news ,all the figures look superbly sculpted,a real tribute to Andy and his team, these will be a welcome addition to the ACW range,a real treat for all the cavalry fans.K&C again proving why they are number1. Ken

Hello There!
George had many uniforms, including the black velvet, gold trimmed one you are referring to.
This new K&C figure wears one of his late war uniforms of his from a classic photograph.
I helped design and install the current Custer exhibit in Monroe Michigan a few years ago and was lucky enough to examine many personal items of his and Libby's. This was one of my favorite studio images of Custer.
All the Best!

Is that fence a new scenic or an old one? I'd love K&C to offer a new one since the sold out one is pretty hard to find?

Aside from that, what a strong offering. I think the Confederates from last year were some the best mounted figures I've seen from any manufacture, anywhere. The new Union Cav looks to be great as well.

Ken you are the man, thanks for the info. I guess I'm just used to seeing him painted in the classic black velvet. It will be nice to have George in a different uniform for a change.

Those personality figures have fantastic likenesses to the real men!! Well done!! And I just love the photographer.

How in the world am I going to keep up with all these great releases ???

This Civil War range is just so wonderful !

Anyone else having trouble keeping up ??
