American Made is upcoming Tom Cruise movie based on ex airline pilot Barry Seal who flew drugs in early 80's for the Colombian drug cartels and then got involved with the CIA. Also involved in the Sandinista / Oliver North saga. He co-operated and testified in a number of high profile drug cases.

I'll check it out, Air America with Mel Gibson was similar, some impressive flying stunts in that earlier movie....and that's the only thing good about it.

He certainly had an interesting time and and movie includes plenty of clips of President Reagan to put it into context.

If you like Narcos (season 3 starts 1 Sept) then you will probably like this.
