American Revolution (Charge of the 16th & 17th Light Dragoons) (1 Viewer)

That is a great diorama! You integrate all the different mediums together into one spectacular scene. Again, awesome work!

Truly creative!!! I have never seen flats mixed with "regulars" before, brilliant work!!!

Oh wow! I just spent 5 minutes gasping for breath at the sheer brilliance of this creation. It is exquisite and evocative.

Sir you have captured that which we could never see in such a way that I could not have imagined until now. You are a true artist - one who'se creation stirs emotion. I am speechless with admiration for the quality of the composition and the overall effect.

Really outstanding. A veiwing pleasure, and great to see a AWI dio. Thanks for posting your work.{bravo}}

Thanks very much for the nice comments everyone. ^&grin

Although seriously time consuming I was surprised how in a photo cut out pictures of figures can really bring a background to life, plus I was able to make one of the actual released figures of the 17th Dragoon figures a standard bearer.

I think that AWI is now probably the range that has the fewest new figures released in a year, which is disappointing and I am sure you can clearly see a glaring space on my set up for some brave patriots standing up to the redcoats - come on K&C don't forgot about us AWI enthusiasts!

Don't see AWI diorama's much.......and that's a shame because this one looks unbelievable! :cool: It once again reminds me how amazing and impressive multiples look. You usually see this representation thru Napoleonics but these AWI clearly show they can stand with the best of them. Really enjoyed viewing this diorama and I hope you get some more additions to fill out your ranks. {bravo}}

You have done a magnificent job with this diorama!! I also collect AWI figures, and it is always nice to see the finely displayed figures of those who have amassed such impressive collections.

There is the superb and expanding Fife & Drum range of 30mm miniatures that spring from the same scultpor as Minden Miniatures. I wonder if they will evr consider making these in 54mm?

I love this...your collection is fantastic...the inverted backdrop looks seamless...the height of it adds so much deminsion...great job!!!

One of the very few posted scenes where the trees are actually the right size. Wonderful!!!

What a fantastic dio. It is really great. An award winner. Keep up the great work. Can't wait to see more.:smile2::smile2::smile2:
