Here is my second K&C purchase ever, DD45 the 105 Sherman. Although by today's standards it doesn't have the best track detail and might be a little small as far as scale goes, it still has a special place in my collection. I took these photos without flash so as not to bring attention to the tracks/wheels. It does have lots of stowage detail which is nice and the commander half figure is still one of my favorite tankers ever done by K&C.

No apologies needed WWIIbuff, I think it looks great just the way it is, I have always enjoyed alot of the older K&C stuff personally, your troops also look very good in the set up of this diorama, and your background house/brick walls really bring this dio to life, sometimes those oldie but goodies are the best ones:)...Sammy

It's exactly as you say "An oldie but a goodie"
A piece for every WWII collection
guy:)

That's a beautiful Sherman Duke. I also like your US soldiers. I've honestly not looked at too many of the US soldiers as I've been into the N. Africa campaign rather than any of the European battles. I don't think K&C has offered any Operation Torch figures (at least not yet).

That building is also fantastic!

Thanks everyone.

WO, the house is from First Legion and the other building is a piece from JG Miniatures and is the backside of a stone barn. The US soldiers are the tank riders set DD044 which is from many years ago and hard to find now.

Hey Duke, really like this mate, that wall looks terrific and it all goes very nicely together. Gotta love that Tank too^&cool

Best

Thanks for that mate. The wall sections I just bought from Ericka Osen of Hudson & Allen at the Texas TS show.

Duke, You are right this tank "is" a Goodie ! I had this same tank 2 years ago but opted to trade it for the newer D=Day Sherman which is now retired too. Terrific scene using all of the different products combined :salute::

Thanks Wayne. I missed out on the newer DDay Sherman but might pick one up if the chance arises in the future.

I have that one as well Duke, but not in such a nice setting as you have presented. Well done. Chris

Lucky to have this one. Truly a classic King & Country early production! Same tank but in British colors (13/18 Royal Hussars) is also a must have

Nothing wrong with this oldie Duke and again, another superb dio layout!
