Yes, long narrow buildings, with the narrow side facing the street was common. Something to do with the measurement facing the street and taxes.

Here is an update on the Roman shop. Almost done. Need to buy some more white paint to finish the top story around the windows, door and balcony

Thanks Seneca. Thanks JBP, i just dry brushed it with a few of the colours i used throughout the paint job. The colour built up as the fine layers went down and its really quite random the colours that you get. I used red, brown, beige, cream and a dark brown terracotta.

Makings some progress with building two and 3. Hoping to finish the smaller shop tomorrow. Still need to touch up building 1. Loving the challenge

Thank Mike, thanks Steve. Yeh the woodwork looks great, really happy. Thats done. Started with a black base and then applied a few little patches of colour with 4 different brown’s from dark to light then dry brushed a coat of each of the colours going from dark to light. The woodwork is done and the white is done just need to finish windows, doors and roofs. Gonna be a big day
