And then there were four! (1 Viewer)

Hey CFM, I fully agree. For me the model reminds me of the Airfix RAF sets we used to make as kids, I am really looking forward to getting it and have it join my growing Battle of Britain Squadron. Going to look cool next to the Morris and Tilly.

Rob
Rob,
Since you mentioned Airfix, well before I ever heard of K&C a few years ago I put this Tamiya 1/35 Tilly together, forget the markings they're just what I had in the spares box.
Wayne.

Splendid work Wayne, very nice job you've done there{bravo}}

Rob

Thanks guys,
There some photos floating around the family that I remember seeing of the local milko back in the early 50's using a surplus tilly as his delivery ute, I guess it was a major trade up from the
horse and tray, if I can find the pics I'll post them. Don't get your milk on the door step anymore.
Wayne.

Rob a very nice collection of this sympathetic little vehicle you have there . I only have 2, wish I had more like you
guy:)

Rob,

Thanks for sharing your splendid Tilly collection. It is a good break from the usual fare of tanks/AFVs. The somewhat less "glamorous" soft skinned/non-track vehicles in the Div/Bde rear areas tend to be taken for granted and forgotten altogether.

Raymond.:)

Why would you want 4 of the same vehicle it looks so TILLY........................^&confuse
Oh hang on a minute i have multiples of TIGERS and KUBELS and KETTS sorry Rob they look great mate........................^&grin

Thanks Raymond, I do agree, much as I love a Tiger/Sherman/Panther I also like the support/background vehicles too^&cool

Hi Tom, to be honest its too close to call between the RAF version and the new Bomb Disposal version, all of them are excellent though.^&cool

Rob they all look great. Will look for your new dio. Thanks Mike B.

What you guys don't know is that I was on the phone to Rob yesterday when the postman turned up with this package from K&C UK. Rob dropped the phone like a hot potato and bolted to answer the door, {eek3} On first names basis with the postman from what I could hear :wink2: and to give Rob credit on this, he waited very patiently for at least 20 seconds before I agreed to call back another time, so that he could remove the Tilly from the packaging.

Well worth the wait from what I can see Rob. :)
