Andy, can we please see the photo of the Feisler Storch from the London Show (1 Viewer)

Guys,

Lets not get out of hand in responding to Pierre. He makes legitimate points and has some legitimate concerns. His point about the dealers, that it is really the manufacturers (i.e. creative people) and the collectors who are essential to the hobby may have some merit in the present internet world.

However, over the years, it has been the dealers, first the ones with shops and more recently the one with amazing websites (like this one and the one hosted by Classic Toys) that drew new blood into the hobby, and enabled collectors to see all the different lines and decide what they wanted to collect. No matter how much Andy spends on advertising (including the proposed History Channel TV commercials) many people are not going to want to lay out the money until they see the product in person, and have a chance to hold it in their own hands (or at least see a cool 360 degree view of it). So the dealers are still a very important, and I believe essential, part of the hobby.

Merry Christmas, Happy Chaunakah, Happy Holidays in general, and lets have peace on earth, starting with this forum.

By the way, I sneaked a peak at the K&C Aichi Type 99 Val today when my wife wasn't home, and man, it is awesome, I can't wait to post some photos of it after the present is formally opened!

Coal in your stocking for sure!

Here is a nice C. 1/30-1/32 Scale Wood Taylorcraft Grasshopper I just picked up. It will look great overflying Bastogne! Happy Holidays, stay warm and an even better 2007 to all!
