New German Paras look excellent, are these the new German BotB releases?

Winter German paratroopers are an exciting development. Over the years we've seen lots of elite German SS units released but I think the elite paratroopers have been overlooked. I'd really like to see some in camoflage for the Normandy campaign soon. ^&cool

Holmes does looks like Basil Rathbone and Watson looks like...well Watson :wink2:

Wayne.

Watson looks like Ben Kingsley in "Without a Clue" , wonderful funny little movie with Michael Caine playing a "different" Sherlock Holmes...XD

Hi, any idea when that Italian model will come out? And will it be desert or winter?

The Camionetta is not the desert version. It is the version used in Sicily, mainland Italy and southern Russia. It could even be a winter version or have German insignia. The obvious differences are the desert version has 2 rows of fuel cans on the sides and sand rails. The non-desert version has no sand rails and only one row of fuel cans with the 2nd row carrying ammunition panniers.

I've seen this version called the Metropolitania, while the desert version is the Sahariana...the differences described above.

BTW... I can't wait for a desert version (Sahariana) to be put out...been hoping for one for a while!
